School for Young Writers can help you with your next steps.
We offer school-age authors the ongoing support of a professional
writing mentor, a large and growing group of like-minded peers,
educational resources, activities and a wealth of writing
opportunities.

SJK'S
SCHOOL FOR YOUNG WRITERS offers a series
of 12-week courses, beginning September 2010 and continuing
through the year. The courses provide the aspiring writer
the opportunity to work one-on-one with a professional writing
mentor on an authentic writing task (personal essay, article,
screenplay, short story, first chapter, or collection of poems)
for up to twelve weeks. Our courses are conducted online via
email and secure blog, allowing you to work at your own pace
and in your favourite writing location. If you are interested
in writing and you need that extra motivation to follow through
on a project, then we can help! Learn the techniques to bring
your creativity to life.
